Opening Prayer 03-12-19

Heavenly Father,

We ask that you open the eyes of understanding to all the unconverted people, soften their hardened hearts, renew their natures, and move their wills to receive the savior. We ask that you work in the lost everything necessary for their salvation. We ask that you would lift up the light of your countenance upon all the desponding hearts. We thank you, O Lord, for converting the found, as we all acknowledge and confess the sovereignty of your grace each day. We thank you for giving us the gift of faith we need to serve you and bring you glory. Please help us to take your hand as a humbled child and follow you. We ask that you send help to all the ministers of your word who have been laboring in the rain and spending their strength for naught. O Lord, let this world live before thee, that its sins may be stayed, that its Righteousness may be exalted, that you our Awesome God-may get unto Himself many people out of it. We ask that you lead us all in the right paths and let the Holy Spirit speak the words of truth from every mouth unto every hearing ear. Give us, O Lord, a new measure of saving faith, a new measure of obedience, a new measure of courage, a new measure of strength, a new measure of discernment, a new measure of compassion, and a new measure of humility that we may see the world through your eyes and be more gracious to everyone we encounter. Lord, I ask that you continue to open our hearts and our eyes daily to our great spiritual needs that we may all grow and mature in your world. We thank you for your merciful and gracious hand in Jesus' name — let the Church Ma say “A’men”!
